Collecting cases from coast to coast is a team effort.

Our world is changing, and our actions have significant potential to make it change for the better. Eco-Train understands how extending the lifecycle of consumption can positively impact our environment. Their mission is to make our economy more circular. That entails transitioning away from traditional Take, Make, Waste consumption patterns.
By launching the Phone Case Recovery program, the visionaries at Eco-Train plan to close the loop and reduce waste in the device accessory industry by recovering materials that will otherwise end up in landfills. It is an ambitious mission, but it is crucial. Fortunately, the Eco-Train team developed a ready-made solution to get us started.
Cesium is proud to be a distribution partner for this first-of-its-kind nationwide program at partnering retail stores, alongside several of our affiliated eco-conscious brands making a positive green impact!

How it works
Eco-Train has set up waste recapture infrastructure so that they can upcycle products containing valuable materials for the upcoming year. Here are a few steps to getting started:

1. Take part: opt-in by purchasing the Eco-Train Phone Recovery Box for $24.99 from Cesium here. After purchase, subscribers will receive a welcome note and access to social media assets for promotional purposes.
2. Perfect the set-up: Upon receiving the box, scan its QR code to pull up instructions on how to fold it into shape.
3. Raise awareness: Put the box on display and notify your customers of its purpose so that they can be made aware of your commitment to upcycling materials. If you are feeling creative, share it on social media using the assets from the Eco-Train vault.
4. Collect all cases: Don’t worry about if it’s recyclable or not, all cases are accepted. Eco-Train is happy to do the sorting and to look after those details.
5. Collect in batches, return ship to Eco-Train: Once the collection box is full, its contents can be emptied into a separate storage system and returned to where it is visible to customers. To save on shipping costs, continue to collect recycled cases in batches throughout the year and return items to Eco-Train in one big batch when the program concludes in March 2022.
The effort is worth it. Plastic takes 450 years to decompose. Setting up a recycling system can take less than an hour, and getting consumers to participate only takes the occasional friendly reminder.
The time to change is now.
Cesium is proud to partner up with Eco-Train. We fully support their mission to transition to a more circular economy. If you have any questions about the program, contact your Cesium Account Manager or the Eco-Train team directly.
